About Us
The Grand Hotel Imperiale, a 4-star establishment that is one of the historic resort hotels on Lake Como, is built in a late art deco style with a new wing reflecting the rationalism of the region. It has an absolute water frontage on the lake and is surrounded by the rich vegetation of its private garden. Its position and easy access to public transport, including the wharf for lake ferries right beside the Hotel, make it an ideal location either for a vacation or
for a conference.
Rooms
There are 102 rooms, 11 of which are of deluxe standard in the exclusive and recently restructured "Villa Imperiale" fronting onto the lake. Individually controlled air conditioning, Sky Vision satellite TV offering 200 international channels and Pay TV, highspeed internet access, fridge-bar, mini-safe and direct-dial telephone.
Restaurants and Bars
"Il Giardino", in the main body of the Hotel has a bright verandah overlooking the garden and offers traditional Italian and international cuisine. The "Imperialino", with splendid views of the lake and garden, offers high quality traditional cuisine showing the influence of typical local dishes but with a touch of creativity. An à la carte menu created by our chef Christian Bertogna. The "Bar Regina, rich in charm and atmosphere, retains its original Twenties style. The "Wine Bar" on the ground floor of Villa Imperiale has a terrace opening onto the pool area.
Conference Centre
This is one of Como's most modern conference facilities, the ideal location for those wishing to avoid long travel times. A 180-seat main hall with natural light and six adjacent rooms of various sizes, with capacities ranging from a minimum of 10 to a maximum of 180 attendees. Finally, there are another two 10-person rooms which are particularly suitable for private luncheons. This highly functional conference centre has all modern equipment including an audio surround amplification system for simultaneous translation, video projectors and high-speed wireless internet connection.

How to get there:
Easy to reach, only 7 Km from the town centre of Como.
By car: from the A9 motorway, 5 minutes from the Como Nord
exit coming from Milan; from Ticino, follow the directions for Cernobbio and stay on the Vecchia Regina (the panoramic road) until reaching Moltrasio 1 km after Cernobbio. There is a garage and plenty of parking.
By ferry: 15 minutes by boat from Piazza Cavour. Get off at Moltrasio. The restaurant is adjacent to the wharf.
